#Dragon battle hour movie#
Considering that the movie will be released in Japan in two months, that’s not too long of a wait for me. They also announced that it would be shown in North America this summer. I was a big fan of the style used in the previous movie, but this new style is certainly growing on me. It’s no surprise either because the movie does look pretty nice from what they’ve shown. A lot of time was spent focusing on the effects and shading. Multiple scenes (without audio) and a trailer were also shown. Most importantly for many fans is that both Trunks and Goten have new and older designs! Aside from the very short finale arc in the original Dragon Ball manga/ Dragon Ball Z anime, they’ve essentially had the same design since their introduction. It shows off slightly older versions and updated designs for more characters. A new visual was unveiled which extended upon the previously released one. One of the most exciting highlights was everything revealed about the new movie, Dragon Ball Super: Super Heroes.
A bulk of the new information on these in particular was provided in the last hour and a half, which is what I wanted to go over. Among the various quizzes, challenges, merch advertising, singing, and even cooking, many current aspects of the franchise were celebrated including the upcoming movie and the various games. As a fan of the Dragon Ball series, it was a given that I would be tuning in now and then for the two-day DRAGON BALL Games Battle Hour 2022 event.
